BANK SWALLOW

Northern rough legged swallows feed on flying insects.  They do not live in groups like other swallows.  Only the females incubate the eggs.

Bank swallows burrow into deep banks to nest and both males and females incubate the eggs.  They prefer fields and marshes near water and feed on flying insects.
